In 2017, our community was displaced from its territory, leaving behind our history, our land, and our roots. Today, we are in a process of rebuilding that drives us to regain our autonomy and ensure a sustainable future for our families. Our fish farming project is the first step toward a new beginning, where we cultivate not only fish but also hope and self-sufficiency.

OUR MISSION

We aim to ensure food sovereignty and build a sustainable settlement that brings well-being to our community. Through this project, our resources will remain within the community, generating jobs, strengthening our traditions, and supporting the nutrition of our families. This way, we reduce our dependence on external food sources and foster a local economy that respects our natural environment.

WHY FISH FARMING?

Fish farming offers us the opportunity to produce nutritious food in an ecological manner, respecting our water resources and strengthening our economy. With each farming cycle, we move closer to our goal of being a strong, independent, and resilient community.
